DMA
Students Had an Excellent Day at the Belleville Karate and
Jiu-jitsu Tournament
A couple of students along with
Sensei Mack attended the Belleville Karate and Jiu-jitsu Tournament
at Centennial High School on Saturday February 6, 2010. It was an
excellent day of competition with great people and a well organized
tournament. Everyone who participated had fun competing with clubs
from Oshawa, Ajax, Belleville, Trenton, Sharbot Lake and the Ottawa
area to name a few.
DMA Students had an awesome day
with results in their divisions as follows,
-
Sensei Mack took Gold in Weapons
Kata and Silver in Black Belt Kumite (Sparring)
-
Chuck Roberts took Silver in
Grappling and 4th in Green-Blue-Brown Kumite (Sparring) with
excellent performances in open hand kata and weapons against tough competition.
-
Mark Brunton competed in
Green-Blue-Brown Kumite (Sparring) and took Bronze.
Great work guys! Everyone was a
winner with a chance to apply lessons learned next time. |
